ICAITD 2026 has adopted the challenging theme of generative AI, or Agent for AI (Science), which is at the cutting edge of AI research.
If AI research advances at its fastest pace, it will lead to the realization of Singularity. In limited, narrow fields, AI technologies have already been shown to outperform humans, making the rapid advancement of AI research not just a dream.

While AI technology cannot be judged as good or bad, its misuse is on the rise.

Disruptive cases of military use, fake image and article generation, and the internet, where the source of these threats cannot be easily traced, are also a problem.

Proposals to regulate AI development are limited to national or regional levels, as global legislation is not possible. Outside of those regions, regulations will not apply. Therefore, rather than imposing ethical regulations on AI development, we need to promote the fastest development and develop AI that regulates ethics from a technological perspective. Such research topics are likely to be more effectively explored by external managers and policymakers who are not immersed in AI, rather than by cutting-edge engineers.
