#Session-5 Cfp_2026_3: Humanities and Social sciences

Regarding submissions from the humanities and social sciences:
Submissions from fields outside of computer science are also welcome.

For example, with regard to the misuse of AI, there is currently a competitive situation in which competitors are trying to overcome the problem rather than strengthening regulations. In response to this, many issues, such as a correct analysis of the current situation, the possibility of external observation and response measures for military uses of state secrets and terrorist behavior, entertainment applications such as fake AI, the possibility of observing and suppressing the current state of fraudulent businesses, the nature of public opinion manipulation through the political application of AI and social media and ways to reduce its impact, the current state of ransomware and password crimes, methods for calculating the damage caused, and proposed countermeasures, are expanding digital crime, and this is an area where countermeasures are significantly lagging behind.

In addition to technical research, consideration from the humanities and social sciences, as well as collaboration between the humanities and social sciences, computer science, and engineering, are necessary. Furthermore, academic theory alone is no longer sufficient to solve the problem, and collaboration with politicians and policy proposals has become increasingly important. We are seeking proposals for breakthroughs in these issues.

In addition to the misuse of AI, there are other research fields in the humanities and social sciences where the relationship with AI is important.

For particularly specialized papers, we recommend submitting them to existing international conferences, as the ICAITD 2026 peer reviewers will have different areas of expertise.

Where engineering papers are characterized by experiments on methods and models, and numerical comparisons, humanities and social science papers are required to demonstrate new perspectives and frameworks, and to demonstrate impacts and social implications that are supported by case studies, statistics, and literature.
